Lori will provide a reference. Website: www.bio-dex.com This project was an entire brand refresh without compromising the long established brand identity. I was working with an existing logo design (circa 1960) to create several new logo treatments, new corporate identity materials, new label designs for more than 30 products, a new website, and various print and video advertising and promotional materials. Projects included:Bio-Dex Laboratories, LLC

The old labels were printed directly on the bottles using screen printing machines that were purchased almost 60 years ago. The client was hopeful that I could come up with a design that had a lot more depth and modern brand identity sensibilities, while still being producible on their three color system. I came up with a screentoned design using dots to create shading and depth, while sticking to the serious color limitation. Most modern labels are printed photographically that make use of mixing colors to create over 24 million shades. Because we were screen printing, we were limited to exactly 3 shades total. Additionally the new layout created an enhanced hierarchy of importance for easy brand recognition from a distance in the store.
Here is the final group shot (a few items are missing) showing the new labels followed by several of the projects I executed for their re-branding.
